Greetings from Montreal! It’s our fourth day here and we’re having a great time so far. Yesterday we took the métro to Old Montreal and strolled through the streets while the snow was falling- so pretty! There are so many neat little shops and cafés, and of course all the old buildings are really beautiful.
A couple highlights:
- Ran into a man walking 3 adorable bulldogs- obviously made my day a little brighter.
- Stopped at a little crêperie for a snack. Bryan ordered a crêpe with ham, egg and cheese and I ordered one with strawberry, banana and dulce de leche. Both were so delicious!
- While we were eating, we noticed this tiny bird flying around inside the restaurant. Normally this would gross me out but he was just so cute and friendly, posing for pictures like a little model. I think he even smized.

i showed joel a pic of brian and said ” joel, look how young you look in that pic!” and joel totally thought it was him! he had no idea it was brian.
