Bryan’s birthday is next week, but I’m going to be in Canada for the next 2 weeks and will miss his 25th birthday. So tonight we’re celebrating and  I made him this cake from a recipe that I found. It turned out great, although mine is a little more lopsided than these perfect blog photos. I’m incredibly proud of myself for making something from scratch! The frosting is AMAZING.

(P.S. Did I ever mention that I am now a legal permanent resident of the United States?! All my paperwork is done and I can finally get a job here! All the more reason to eat cake.)
